Summary:
This role will help shape data-driven solutions while leading and developing a team of analysts. The role will lead the development of advanced analytics, automation, and real-time reporting to improve risk insights and operational efficiency. This role is responsible for ensuring robust data management and governance, establishing strong process governance and setting standards for team-delivered scripts and data solutions. The role will present data-driven insights to senior leadership, directly influencing decision-making and cultivating a proactive risk management culture. Through innovative technology and data practices, this role will play a pivotal role in optimizing risk strategies, strengthening governance, and mentoring a high-performing team.

Drive current and future strategy by leveraging your analytical skills
Assist with building and using models to test and validate data
Work with vast amounts of data in new and evolving environments
Develop and implement strategic tests of processes, initiatives and products
Improve operational, data and reporting efficiencies and effectiveness

Basic Qualifications:
Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related quantitative field)
Professional Experience:
At least 6 years of experience in data analytics
At least 4 years of programming experience
At least 2 years of experience managing people or leading & managing multiple large projects
At least 2 years of experience delivering Data Governance and Data Quality Management concepts and practices within the financial services industry or a comparable field
Skills Required:
Possessing strong problem solving and conceptual thinking abilities
Excellent communication skills , interpersonal and leadership skills are also important.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics discipline
At least 7 years of professional data analysis work experience
At least 4 years of experience with Python, R, Spark or SQL
At least 1 year of experience in people management
At least 1 years of project management experience
At least 1 year of experience in Tableau
Proficient utilizing and developing within AWS service
