● To provide technical assistance on computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all other computer related problems for immediate troubleshooting
● Operational Performance
○ Oversees the daily performance of computer systems; Prepares weekly reports on service level agreements (SLAs) to track number of open against closed/rejected issues
○ Maintains an inventory of troubleshooting requests and ensures timely resolution of problems
○ Oversees the response to user queries and computer problems including printing, installation, cable connection, word processing, electronic mail and other desktop issues
○ Oversees the installation and troubleshooting peripheral equipment such as servers, desktops, printers, telephones and storage devices
○ Conducts weekly and monthly meetings with staff to coordinate escalation of issues, especially pertaining to network connections; Includes coordinating user access for staff to the US team
● People Development
○ Trains, coaches and mentors staff based on performance improvement; Conducts performance assessments
○ Provides staff with technical support/assistance on computer related problems.
● May be assigned / rotated across related sub-functions including but not limited to sub-functions within IT
● All other job-related duties that may be assigned from time to time
● Educational Background: College graduate, preferably IT, Computer Science or Engineering degree
● Professional Experience: 5 years working experience, with 3 years in a supervisory role
● Skills Required:
○ Extensive understanding of computer systems and processes
○ Leadership Skills
○ Proficient in MS Office
○ Technical Skills
○ Good written and verbal communication skills
○ Knowledgeable in ServiceNow
○ Broad knowledge in IT Governance, IT Risk Management
● Microsoft Certification (MSCE) and IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Certification is an advantage
● Knowledgeable in Tech Proj Management
