Senior Associate, Marketing Generalist

Job Description

Supports a sales-oriented B2B marketing organization by ensuring consistent brand execution, quality of content, reliable performance reporting, process adherence across the department, and supports roll out strategy for all new programs and services put into the market. Manages copy editing, brand governance, special projects, marketing operations support, develops ad hoc presentations, and process optimization to  support marketing program roll out and the sales team with tools. Manage triple constraints within each project and partner with external vendors and internal partners to get the job done while creating efficiencies.

Responsibilities:

  • Content Quality & Copy Editing - Ensures content is accurate, clear, and consistent with brand guidelines by editing materials, managing claims, and maintaining style guide adherence and maintenance and creation of templates.

  • Marketing Reporting & Analytics - Create and maintain reporting summarizing departmental marketing performance and other project reports, ensuring accurate, consistent data and actionable insights for leadership.

  • Process Development & Operational Support - Develops and implements standardized marketing processes and documentation, identifies operational improvements, and coordinates project execution to enhance workflow quality and team alignment.

  • Ad Hoc Project Management – Creates presentations to support marketing programs and sales enablement initiatives and manages special projects as needed


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree

  • At least 2 years of experience in Marketing

  • At least 1 year of experience in Direct advertising
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Advertising or Consumer Behavior

  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing

  • 2+ years of experience in Market Research

  • Strong copy editing, proofreading, and grammar skills

  • Experience enforcing brand guidelines

  • Experience creating B2B presentations and talking points

  • Proficiency with marketing and reporting tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, Salesforce, Looker Studio, Tableau, Excel)

  • Strong organizational skills and experience documenting processes or workflows

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience in a sales-driven or regulated industry (e.g., financial services, healthcare, technology, manufacturing)

  • Experience building reports or dashboards for leadership

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
