Associate, Project Manager

 The Credit, Data, and Modeling Culture and Community team is responsible for a wide range of community and culture building processes and events that aim to advance the culture and talent in some of the communities most core to what we do at Capital One. We are seeking a highly analytical and results-oriented Project Manager to own our bi-annual credit community survey. This role will be critical in helping us understand how our Consumer Credit community is feeling and providing our Credit Officers critical feedback on how they are fostering the culture on their teams and through their work. In this role you will own and analyze our bi annual survey, glean insights from that data that will inform our broader Credit Talent Management work. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Partner with key stakeholders internal and external to the CDM team to construct and deliver the bi-annual survey. 

  • Analyze survey data to provide timely readouts to individual credit officers as well as produce bi-annual state of the community report 

  • Proactively design strategic enhancements, and execute process improvements to drive better response rates and richer data quality while maintaining a smooth stakeholder experience

  • Leverage insights from the survey to dive deeper into areas for improvement and for places to drive our talent strategy forward

  • Contribute to driving the broader Credit Talent Management strategy supporting work on building out our credit talent management pipeline 

  • Build and maintain relationships with key talent champions across all consumer credit lines of business

  • Team player: You are highly motivated and willing to roll up your sleeves and get the job done, even in situations where the work is outside of the scope of your respective role.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience

  • At least 2 Years of experience managing projects

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a highly analytical role (business or financial analysis)

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $81,700 - $93,300 for Project Manager

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
