About the Graffiti Team:
The Graffiti team is responsible for building and maintaining a cutting-edge enterprise platform for managing outbound correspondences across the organization. We are transitioning from a feature factory approach to an enterprise solution, focusing on scalability, self-service capabilities, and seamless integration for various business units and clients.
About the role:
We are looking for a driven and strategic Product Manager with a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, and experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products to join our team and contribute to the evolution of this critical platform. The ideal candidate has experience in a platform or enterprise software environment, and is proficient with backlog management, user story writing, and product documentation. This role will also involve data-driven decision-making, tracking and reporting on KPIs, and effectively managing stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Additional aspects of the role:
Roadmap Development and Prioritization: Define, develop, and manage the product roadmap for the Graffiti platform, aligning it with business objectives and strategic vision. Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value, customer needs, and technical feasibility.
Requirements Gathering and Documentation: Collaborate with stakeholders across various business units to gather requirements, define user stories, and create detailed product specifications. Ensure clear and comprehensive documentation of all product features and functionalities.
Platform Strategy: Contribute to the overall platform strategy, driving the evolution from a feature factory to an enterprise solution. Identify and define core platform capabilities that will support future client onboarding and use cases.
Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate with and manage expectations of various stakeholders, including engineering teams, business units, and leadership. Facilitate meetings, provide updates, and address any concerns related to the product roadmap and development process.
Backlog Management: Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that it is well-defined, estimated, and ready for development. Work closely with engineering teams to ensure smooth execution of development sprints.
Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to ensure successful product delivery. Communicate product vision, roadmap, and progress updates to stakeholders at all levels.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data and metrics to inform product decisions, measure success, and identify areas for improvement. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports on product performance.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance the product development lifecycle. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies related to correspondence management and platform development.
Basic Qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience working in Product Management
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:
A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)
A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products
Experience with API development and integration
Understanding of security and compliance requirements
Familiarity with data publishing and management
Experience with outbound correspondence management or related technologies

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
Chicago, IL: $144,000 - $164,400 for Manager, Product Management
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
