That’s why our team is looking to add a Principal Process Associate.

As a Principal Associate, Process Management, you will ensure GWS is enabling fiscal responsibility and accountability while ensuring an extraordinary associate experience. You will support GWS in "well managed" processes, as you partner with a diverse team from GWS, Finance, and Third Parties.

  • Help build customer solutions and appropriately challenge business decisions

  • Deliver results while prioritizing critical business work and keeping management appropriately informed

Key Responsibilities

  • Budget/Finance Oversight:

    • Monthly financial reviews for central services operations teams

    • Purchase orders (POs)

    • Annual budget processes for Central Services

    • Budget re-forecasts process

  • Audits & Escalations:

    • Review third-party audit results and create and monitor action plans

    • Arrange additional audits as needed

    • Establish processes to escalate facility management-related work orders that impact operations

  • Key Performance Indices (KPI) Governance:

    • Oversee KPI preparation and benchmarking for services

    • KPI validation and reporting

  • Service Change Request (SCR) Management:

    • Provide oversight for the SCR process

    • Document SCRs and validate them against the contracts and create visibility to downstream parties

    • Manage the process for vendor compilation and socialization of all Central Services SCRs

  • Vendor Interaction/Coordination:

    • Engage in weekly standups

    • Handle escalations with regions and FM as needed

    • Participate in Governance ceremonies 

    • Reviewer of POs and SCRs

  • Partner Governance Support

    • Third party governance ceremonies i.e. scheduled reviews, goal setting, surveys

    • Contract monitoring

    • Contractor lifecycle oversight in Capital One systems

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in Finance Management or Audit

  • At least 2 years of experience with G Suite tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience

  • 3+ years of experience in Process Management

  • 2+ years of experience in Vendor or Supplier Management

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Richmond, VA: $93,400 - $106,600 for Principal Process Manager

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
