We are looking for a talented individual to lead our Product Onboarding Program. As a member of the Product College team, the Principal Associate will be responsible for partnering closely with key business partners in Capital One’s Product organizations to deliver practical and immersive learning experiences. This role will coordinate the delivery of self-paced and cohort programmatic experiences, both in-person and virtually, to meet Product associates where they are and get them where they need to be within their first 90 days at Capital One. This role will partner closely with the leaders, instructional designers, Product associates, and other stakeholders to deliver a best-in-class program.

Has excellent project management skills; autonomously drives projects, logistics and strategy forward using sound judgment and critical thinking.
Has experience delivering dynamic immersive learning experiences, with a particular focus on cohort learning and program execution.
Dynamically adapts their communication style across verbal and written channels (e.g., Slack, email) to keep participants, facilitators, and executives engaged and apprised of important details.
Has a consultative skill set and builds trust-based relationships to partner effectively with a wide range of clients, senior leaders and subject matter experts.
Is highly data-driven and detail-oriented, with a keen ability to organize, synthesize, and analyze data to measure impact and drive continuous program improvement.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-end program ownership: Own the day-to-day execution, annual strategy, and iteration of the Product Onboarding program within Product College. Ensure a high-quality, associate-centric experience across the first 90 days for new-to-Capital One Product Managers (SA–SM levels) and internal transfers moving into Product.
Stakeholder & speaker management: Identify, brief, and seamlessly integrate executive product speakers, SMEs, and facilitators into the onboarding curriculum to ensure high-impact delivery. Maintain strong relationships with the Accountable Executive and key stakeholders to achieve the program's vision and adjust course based on internal and industry shifts.
Data-driven continuous improvement: Analyze pre and post-session surveys and conduct comprehensive retrospective meetings after each cohort to identify themes and measure impact. Coordinate with necessary partners, including data teams, consultants, and instructional designers, to implement systemic, data-backed curriculum enhancements.
Operations & budget integrity: Manage program budgets, track learner data and distribution lists, and coordinate the complex virtual and in-person logistics required to scale the program smoothly across multiple locations.
Live session production: Act as a host and producer for learners during live learning sessions, managing immediate logistics such as facilitator preparedness, Zoom recordings, attendance tracking, and materials archiving.
Program advocacy & communication: Manage all ongoing program communications (formal and informal) via Slack and email. Drive awareness and marketing efforts for the program within the broader Capital One product community and across other internal onboarding teams.
Process excellence: Work on individual and team initiatives to design, build, and implement new scalable processes that ensure efficient, reliable, and resilient program delivery.

Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
At least 2 years of experience in learning and development
At least 1 year of experience in Program or Project Management, or a combination
At least 1 year of consulting experience

2+ years of consulting experience
Process or Project Management Certification

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $108,900 - $124,300 for Learning Consultant
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
