Senior Associate - Analyst Development Program Learning Experience Lead

The Students & Grads team builds Capital One’s pipeline of top junior talent by delivering a program that communicates our innovation and impact while developing outstanding associates at the start of their careers. We are looking for an exceptional teammate to own the planning and logistics of our signature events for the ADP (Analyst Development Program) who has strong planning, organization, and communication skills, laser customer focus, meticulous attention to detail and be comfortable working in some ambiguity. The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing new talent as well as proven experience in leading projects in a well-managed way. You should be excited about the opportunity to influence strategic decisions using a data-backed approach.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for executing signature program events in both virtual and in-person capacity (Onboarding, Experience Weeks, Graduation, etc.), working to design curriculum and content for all experiences throughout the two year rotation program

  • Main POC for all staffing and preparation for key stakeholders and facilitators for core associate experiences

  • Partner closely with Program Manager to develop and execute on all L&D strategic initiatives, including exploration of autonomous learning, tiered training, etc

  • Serve as the liaison for the Analyst portfolio on cross-S&G learning initiatives 

  • Leverage both quantitative and qualitative data in partnership with Talent Development Team to influence and implement new learning strategies

  • Responsible for evaluation and analysis for experience weeks

  • Engage with leaders across the company to ensure positive experience for the program’s associates

  • Build and own relationships with internal clients, stakeholders and external vendors 

Basic Qualifications:

  •  Associate's degree or military experience

  • At least 1 year of experience working in Event Management or at least 1 year of experience in Human Resources or a combination of both 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience working in program management or at least 1 year of working in employee development or engagement or a combination of both

  • At least 2 years of experience in recruiting, consulting, or Human Resources or a combination of these

  • Experience with project management

  • Experience interpreting metrics and trends

  • Experience in Powerpoint and Excel OR Google Suite (Sheets and Slides)

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $86,300 - $98,400 for Sr. HR Associate

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
