Senior Associate, Process Management - Servicing Data Excellence

In this role, you will collaborate with your immediate team, internal customers, and downstream partners to shape strategic intent and deliver business value. You will play a critical role in balancing business needs with operational capabilities, constraints, and the overall customer experience, ensuring that our data processes are both efficient and impactful.

As a Process Manager on the Servicing Data Excellence team, you will sit at the intersection of operations and data analytics. Your work will focus on modernizing our reporting landscape by updating scripts to enterprise standards and establishing robust governance to ensure that our technical execution mirrors our strategic intent. Working alongside Data Analysts and Data Product Managers, you will have the opportunity to develop SQL and Python skills, build insightful analysis dashboards, and support a broad range of critical customer areas including SCRA, PCG, CEMP, Complaints, CBR, and Supply Chain.

General Responsibilities: 

1. Reporting Modernization & Scripting

  • Script Updates: Update and maintain scripts to automate new and existing reporting workstreams, reducing manual overhead and improving data accuracy.

  • Process Modernization: Audit legacy reporting processes and migrate them toward modern, scalable, and automated solutions.

  • Script Governance: Establish and manage a governance framework for all reporting scripts to ensure "intent equals execution"—verifying that data outputs accurately reflect business requirements and policy logic.

2. Data Analysis & Visualization

  • Dashboard Development: Design and build intuitive dashboards to provide real-time visibility into process performance and health.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Data Associates (DAs) and Data Product Managers (DPMs) to align process goals with data infrastructure.

  • Analytical Insights: Perform deep-dive analyses to identify trends, bottlenecks, and optimization opportunities across various business lines.

3. Process Management & Compliance

  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Document modernized workflows and maintain comprehensive guides for automated reporting tools.

  • Performance Monitoring: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure automated processes meet Sofia’s quality and compliance standards.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science or other quantitative field)

  • At least 2 years of experience in Customer Service or Relationship Management 

  • At least 2 years of experience in Process Management 

  • At least 1year of experience in SQL or QuickSight

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree

  • 2+ years of scripting experience in SQL, Python or google app scripts

  • 2+ years of experience leveraging dashboarding tools like Tableau and QuickSight

  • 2+ years of experience in an Agile environment

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $88,800 - $101,300 for Sr. Process Manager


 

Richmond, VA: $80,800 - $92,200 for Sr. Process Manager

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
