Senior Project Manager, Product Operations - Customer Support Experience

As a Senior Project Manager of Product Management at Capital One, you will drive strategy and execute on high priority projects for the company. About the team: 

Enterprise Data is responsible for helping drive and evolve Capital One’s data journey. Our products support our data producers and consumers as they drive business processes and innovation across all corners of the company. The Customer Success team in Enterprise Data is reimagining the customer support experience for our internal customers using our data platforms. 

About the role: 

We are seeking a customer-centric, energetic, and highly-motivated individual who is passionate about technology to join our team. This individual will be responsible for driving a cross-functional support model across Enterprise Data platforms for internal customers (data producers and consumers across Capital One). You will be the voice of the customer for our product and engineering partners for product feedback and improvements. You will play an integral role in building partnerships and knowledge within the team and be part of strategic initiatives for organizational and process improvements. Success in the role requires an innovative mind, a proven track record of delivering highly complex solutions end to end, rigorous organization skills, and a passion for delivering customer value.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Elevate and champion Enterprise Data customer support agenda

  • Develop sustainable feedback loops to address customer challenges  

  • Provide differentiated support experiences for key moments

  • Display strong consulting and collaboration skills to work with partners to understand business problems and focus on bringing issues to resolution

  • Demonstrate outstanding communication and partnership skills with key stakeholders across all levels to manage, inform, and influence outcomes

  • Identify ways to improve and streamline business processes

  • Demonstrate organizational agility to adapt to changing demands and work in a dynamic environment

  • Proactively find opportunities for customers to gain additional value out of target state tools & platforms

Who you are:

  • Extremely organized with strong task coordination, and time management skills to drive and deliver results

  • Able to handle ambiguity and able to dive deep without losing sight of the project’s direction and commitment

  • Experienced communicating and influencing senior leaders and partners

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience

  • At least 8 Years of Project Management experience

  • At least 1 year of People Management experience

  • At least 4 years of experience in solutions architecture or client consultation service experience 

Preferred qualifications

  • Knowledge of financial industries and data technology

  • Exposure to Agile methodology

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Richmond, VA: $155,300 - $177,200 for Sr Manager, Project Management

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
