Capital One, a Fortune Magazine “100 Best Companies to Work For,” is seeking an innovative Senior Associate to join our Retail Bank Marketing team. This role will support our Prospect Acquisitions Strategy team in developing holistic marketing strategies, campaigns and creative for assigned Bank products, features and initiatives in order to fuel business growth.
The Prospect Acquisitions Strategy team is part of the broader Integrated Strategy and Planning team within Retail Bank Marketing. Our team works to drive product consideration and new account bookings amongst audiences that are brand new to Capital One. This role is responsible for translating business objectives into insight driven marketing plans and collaborating with partners to execute campaigns primarily within digital channels. This is a highly collaborative role with plenty of opportunities to interface and ideate with the broader marketing team, partners and with leadership.

Key Responsibilities include:
Develop insight-driven marketing strategies that include channel mix, creative strategy, and testing opportunities
Help lead campaign intent and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver campaigns into market - including digital, site, in-person and PR
Translate and communicate business goals into effective media and creative briefs
Manage creative development - with both internal partners and external agencies - facilitating creative reviews and synthesizing cross-functional feedback to ensure marketing is on-brand, high quality, aligned to our strategic intent - with an emphasis on driving synergy across touchpoints
Support the creation of the cross-channel digital media strategy with our external agency and channel teams, helping to lead the umbrella briefing and strategy development cross-functionally to ensure strategy is reflective of our intent and aligned to business goals
Stay plugged into consumer, industry and marketing trends as well as keep a pulse on the financial services, competitive and digital marketing landscape
Lead consumer and competitive research work streams, identifying research questions and synthesizing findings into actionable insights for our business or marketing teams
Manage multiple projects and navigate changing priorities while staying focused on delivering excellent results
Collaborate with multiple partner teams and navigate/negotiate through a complex organization
This Associate should bring:
Hands on experience developing Marketing strategies and creative across a wide range of channels and consumer facing touchpoints
Familiarity with key paid digital channels: SEM, Affiliates, Social, Video, Display
Successful track record in facilitating alignment across matrixed or cross-functional teams
Very organized and able to self-manage details of multiple projects, deadlines and changing priorities simultaneously while maintaining excellent and accurate work
Highly effective communication skills with outstanding writing and verbal persuasion abilities
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience
At least 3 years of experience in consumer Marketing, communications, or project management
At least 3 years of experience executing cross-channel Marketing communications campaigns
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industry
Agency experience or experience managing agency partners and relationships
