The Product Operations team within BC&P plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the Product organization. This team focuses on building, refining, and managing processes that enable our Product organization to perform at a high level, ultimately contributing to the successful delivery of products and services to our business customers.

Responsibilities: 

  • Monitor multiple processes to ensure they meet the needs and intent of the business; sharing reporting and consistent updates to leadership

  • Identify and drive improvement that streamlines, automates, reduce risks of processes that would improve internal/ external customer experience

  • Exhibit creative thinking and problem solving skills to achieve desired outcomes, by bridging gaps, improving and clarifying needs and/or providing appropriate solutions that are scalable, standardized, and operational ready

  • Collaborate with peers on larger initiatives; may participate on cross-functional project teams and provide input for process improvement initiatives 

  • Communicate updates with internal customers and stakeholders on new or existing processes

  • Partner with vertical risk managers to perform an analysis of risks and requirements and their association with the control

  • Supporting process documentation creation and revision, including version control

  • Assist in the planning and execution of control assessments and hygiene

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification

  • At least 2 years of experience in Process Management, Risk Management or Project Management

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience

  • BPM (Business Process Management), Lean Six Sigma, or Six Sigma Certification

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $86,300 - $98,400 for Sr. Process Manager

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
