Tech Social & Blog Marketing, Senior Associate

Capital One Mexico is looking for an experienced social & blog marketer and tech storyteller to own our content pipeline. Driven by tech industry trends and audience insights, this position will work with Capital One technologists and marketing partners to support the development and promotion of blogs and social posts aimed at increasing awareness of Capital One’s technology leadership. The person in this role will strategize and manage the blog & social editorial calendars and publishing to tell Capital One’s story. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage editorial calendar for social & blog posts, which encompasses stages from topic ideation, approvals, and publication

  • Manage intake process for proposed social & blog posts from partners and stakeholders  

  • Manage the social & blog creative development and approval process according to Capital One style guides and Tech Marketing guidelines/goals

  • Partner with a US team to manage social & blog publishing and governance 

  • Coordinate with a US team for social & blog reporting as needed

  • Coordinate Tech event social engagement, moderation, planning, and implementation

  • Lead social associate advocacy recruitment and engagement

  • Collaborate with peers across Capital One to ensure strategic alignment with enterprise social & blog standards

  • Deliver error-free work with keen attention to detail including overseeing the proofreading and creative review processes

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • At least 2 years of experience in journalism, social media or marketing with an emphasis on digital marketing or blog marketing

  • At least 2 years of experience analyzing, planning and executing marketing campaigns or projects

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in tech marketing or experience working within technology sectors focused on AI, Machine Learning, cloud computing, data management, or software engineering

  • At least 3 years of experience in social media marketing or social media management

  • Experience working with social analytics platforms, such as Sprinklr, to analyze data trends
