COAF Affidavits Sr. Coordinator - Onsite

Job Description:

We are seeking a self-motivated and highly organized individual with exceptional attention to detail to join our Capital One Auto Finance (COAF) team as an Affidavits Senior Coordinator. This role is crucial for managing the necessary documentation for impounded vehicles and units prepared for sale at auction. The ideal candidate must be able to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, consistently demonstrating sound judgment, precision, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Daily execution of affidavits for both impound and auction teams

  • Maintain a regulated notary log in strict accordance with compliance standards

  • Proactively interact and communicate with internal teams, external customers, commercial clients, financial institutions, and regulatory agencies on a daily basis (both written and verbal)

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CT

Location: Plano, TX (Plano 5) - This role is an essential position and requires onsite attendance. This team currently operates with 5 days in the office. As an essential onsite position, we reserve the right to change these requirements at any time to meet evolving business needs.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification

  • At least 3 years of customer service or call center experience

  • At least 1 year experience working in the financial industry

  • At least 1 year of experience using Google Suite or Microsoft Office


Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of auto finance experience

  • At least 1 year of experience with in-office document processing

  • At least 1 year of impounds or vehicle remarketing experience

  • At least 1 year of experience formatting PDFs with Adobe Acrobat Reader

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
