Capital One Auto is seeking an innovative and data-driven Brand Manager to help lead dealer brand marketing efforts for the Auto line of business. This associate will play a critical role in our B2B growth strategy, focused on driving integrated strategies across the dealer journey.
This role requires a mix of strong business knowledge and stakeholder management, omni-channel marketing experience, exceptional communication, proactive approach to becoming a subject matter expert in our dealer offerings and strong data and analytical skills. This role will be responsible for leading and coordinating the brand strategy, creative development process, and compliance reviews of marketing campaigns while working closely with creative partners, execution teams, and business analysts. Responsibilities:
Develop integrated brand marketing strategies and projects that span multiple parts of the business (cross Line of Business / Division), serving as a key liaison and collaborator with cross-functional teams from Sales, Business Analysis, Product, Creative, Legal, etc.
Serve as the Brand representative to senior stakeholders, actively championing effective prioritization of initiatives aligned to business strategy
Develop reusable playbooks for new and strategic focus areas (e.g. Partnerships marketing, external media) to set the stage for future growth
Create overarching value propositions and storytelling for dealer offerings, especially in new and undefined areas
Lead strategic brand development of new and ongoing campaigns and testing initiatives for the Auto business
Develop creative briefs, work closely with creative partners to bring the business intent to life via compelling marketing channel creative deliverables along with facilitating creative to execution process handoff, gaining deep understanding of the nuances of our channel-specific execution systems, processes and procedures
Collaborate with analysts to understand total business performance and build on analysis to identify new opportunities and optimize marketing testing strategies around creative and audience segmentation
Synthesize research insights, marketing trends, competitive landscape, and macro external factors to identify new strategic recommendations to improve results and Brand impact, coordinating with cross-functional teams
Tell consistent and compelling stories about our products and services, while also championing our brand and the end customer experience
Influence internal decision makers with formal recommendations and informal networking through excellent communication and presentation skills up to senior executives
Fully champion and embody well-managed processes, identifying opportunity gaps and driving improvements across immediate team and partner teams
Partner closely with data and business teams be a champion of Marketing ROI reporting, helping inform decision making and surface key learnings through immediate team and partner teams
This Associate should bring:

A curious mindset, ready to dig in on dealer attitudes/behaviors/trends and draw implications for marketing
Highly effective communication skills with outstanding writing, editing, and presentation abilities
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or military experience
At least 7 years of experience focused on direct response marketing, brand marketing, B2B marketing, or corporate communications (or a combination)
At least 3 years of experience in a marketing or communications department for a Fortune 500 company, or at least 3 years of experience within an advertising or marketing agency
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in financial services marketing
2+ years of experience presenting to senior leadership
Experience with automotive B2B marketing

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
Plano, TX: $132,800 - $151,600 for Manager, Brand
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
