Adjustments Senior Operations Production Coordinator (Onsite)

Capital One is seeking a smart, ambitious and talented professional that is self- motivated with excellent organizational and critical thinking skills and has a great attention to detail and the ability to work in a team productive environment. The Senior Operations Production Coordinator will participate in day to day processing functions of the Adjustments Department within Consumer Operations. The job scope includes the handling of check disbursement approvals partnering with internal departments, and finding solutions to all check disbursement related issues.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, fast paced environment while displaying sound judgment in decision making. 

Responsibilities

  • Perform research and monetary adjustment transactions in support of Adjustments operations

  • Managing case inventory effectively

  • Researching and resolving check transaction errors

  • Communicate/ correspond with branches, internal departments, vendors and external banks as necessary

  • Utilize multiple necessary systems and applications with proficiency 

  • Proactively identifying and reporting operational and /or customer experience issues appropriately to management

  • Identifies quality or production issues and communicates them with management

  • Follow direction and execute tasks efficiently following policies and procedures

  • Always providing a positive customer experience

  • Maintain quality and production scores within departmental expectations

  • Identify and escalate issues to management as necessary

  • Positive role model for the team

  • Other responsibilities as assigned by management

  • Work with software applications such as Acquire, TRIPS, Imagesoft, and Fedline, SVPCO

Location: This role is an essential position and requires on site attendance in Richmond, Virginia

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification

  • At least 3 years of Customer Service or Call Center experience

  • At least 2 years of Data Entry experience

  • At least 1 year of experience within the financial or banking industry

  • At least 1 year experience using Google Suites or Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of Customer Service or Call Center experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in the financial or banking industry

  • At least 2 years experience using Google Suites or Microsoft Office

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
