The Role
The Enterprise Payments Chief of Staff team is accountable for supporting the SVP of Enterprise Payments, the Enterprise Payments HR Lead and the Enterprise Payments Leadership team to design and execute EP culture, with a focus on associate experience and operating model.
Working with the Senior Director, Chief of Staff, this role executes on key components including talent and culture programs, associate experience, planning and executing large events and will dedicate 25% of their capacity to support the EP Leadership Team with individual operating routines such as MBRs and off-site events.
Candidates should have an engaging executive presence, exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills, expertise in relationship-building, experience with building engaging presentations, a desire to solve complex problems, and the ability to manage multiple projects at once. Candidates should be excited about positively impacting the experience of our associates and the opportunity to help our leaders advance our payments strategy.
Responsibilities
Support associate experience efforts, including the management of our culture program, site engagement strategy and associate feedback forums.
Provide end-to-end support of events from ideation through production, including executive meetings, town halls, speaking engagements, and special events such as the annual Payments Symposium.
Lead and proactively manage payments industry engagement and industry conference routines for Enterprise Payments.
Partner with L&D to bring learning and development opportunities to our associates.
Create executive-ready presentations and materials.
Exhibit a proven track record of project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage the work.
Build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional key stakeholders.
Dedicate 25% capacity to support the MVP, Payments Operations with MBRs, operating routines, associate engagement and off-site meetings.
The Successful Candidate will

Location: This role is hybrid, where you will be expected to spend 3 days per week working in office and the remainder of the week working virtually.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or Military experience
At least 2 years of experience using Google Suite or Microsoft Office
At least 4 years of experience in Project Management, Human Resources, Corporate Communications, or Program Management
At least 2 years of experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
At least 5 years of experience in project management
At least 2 years of experience in talent and culture strategy
At least 2 years of experience driving organizational change and operational excellence
At least 1 year of experience planning and executing large scale events
At least 2 years of experience managing executive level stakeholders
At least 3 years of experience using Google Slides

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $117,300 - $133,900 for Principal Project Manager
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
