The Field Effectiveness Team is seeking a creative and experienced Senior Learning Associate to join our Learning and Development Team. In this role, you will be responsible for contributing to and managing key components of end-to-end learning projects.  You’ll contribute to the strategic success of the field sales teams, helping to deliver best-in-class and measurable results. You will be instrumental in developing visually appealing, effective, and results-driven training materials and learning experiences that align with our organizational competencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize instructional design, adult learning methodologies and best practices to design, develop and facilitate high-quality, engaging, and results-driven learning experiences that align with organizational competencies and have clear learning objectives

  • Collaborate with L&D team members, sales leaders, and internal partners to identify  performance gaps and support the implementation of high-quality, creative learning strategies

  • Monitor the effectiveness of learning content through assessments, surveys, and feedback, utilizing data to suggest and implement iterative improvements

  • Apply proficient knowledge of multimedia design and digital learning authoring tools to produce professional-grade graphics, animations, videos, and interactive elements

  • Manage multiple learning project workstreams simultaneously, ensuring high quality and timely delivery

  • Keep up-to-date on digital education trends and technologies to ensure our training programs remain effective

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification

  • At least 2 years of experience in Learning and Development or Instructional Design 

  • At least 2 years working with digital learning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline) and multimedia suites (Camtasia)

  • At least 1 year of experience measuring and reporting on learning outcomes (surveys, assessments, or performance data to evaluate training effectiveness)

  • At least 1 year of experience facilitating content and using instructional design models

  • At least 1 year of experience with audio and video editing software

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or military experience 

  • 1+ year of experience supporting learning for sales teams

  • Experience using AI coaching tools  

  • Experience in video production, podcasts and digital learning

  • Experience engaging and collaborating with internal stakeholders 

  • Demonstrated application of adult learning methodologies (Bloom’s Taxonomy, Kirkpatrick’s Levels of Evaluations)

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
