Senior Systems Integrator (SQL, Data/System Analysis, Data/System conversions)

This role will support/lead the technical design and implementation of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems with a focus on delivering efficient, reliable, resilient, scalable, and high performing solutions. The resource is accountable for partnering with various teams (internal and 3rd party technical teams) in identifying options, driving reviews and detailed analysis, developing solutions and providing technical direction.
 

General Responsibilities:

  • Partner with product team, product owners, engineering leaders and architects to analyze and help derive solutions

  • Work with scrum masters and product owners to help build the muscle on Agile backlog grooming and co-lead grooming sessions

  • Assimilate information and requirements from a variety of sources into one comprehensive view

  • Manages complex troubleshooting efforts that cross multiple platforms and technical disciplines

  • Able to quickly understand business needs and translate these needs into technical solutions

  • Recognizes and implements automation opportunities

  • Leverage analytic and technical skills to implements standard patterns and solutions to increase design and implementation efficiency

  • Actively learn & analyze complex, interconnected business processes/systems

  • Build well-managed data solutions, tools, and capabilities to enable self-service frameworks for data consumers

  • Demonstrate ability to explore and quickly grasp new technologies to progress varied initiatives

  • Tackle complex problems while using your expertise to deliver and support our services

  • Effectively communicate and influence partners vertically and horizontally throughout the organization

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to integrate into a dynamic environment

  • Partner with the business to provide consultancy and translate the business needs to design and develop tools, techniques, metrics, and dashboards for insights and data visualization

  • A clear communicator across diverse organizations including technical, project, and business resources verbally and through written documentation

  • A hands-on problem solver who seeks to understand a domain and solve problems across functional areas.

  • Very strong communication skills and ability to interact with internal IT, third party vendors and business partners

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification

  • At least 3 years of experience with systems analysis and integration
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 2+ years of scripting experience in Python and SQL

  • 3+ years experience with systems integration

  • 2+ years of experience with Agile

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Illinois (Hybrid On-Site): $125,000 - $142,600 for Senior System Integrator

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
