We are seeking a talented Project Manager to lead high impact campaigns across Mainstreet Card (subprime credit) Acquisitions to transform how we connect with consumers and drive business outcomes. The new and exciting role in the Marketing organization will be responsible for managing a portfolio of projects across a vast set of stakeholders ranging from Business & Marketing partners to Operations & MarTech, overseeing the end-to-delivery of individual projects and establishing new overarching program-level planning initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the lead for the Mainstreet-wide quarterly prioritization and planning process to develop a holistic view of upcoming intent requests and partner with delivery partners to develop a 6 month+ delivery roadmap for digital channels.
Drive program-level roadmap, partnering with Enterprise Operations to continually assess available team and partner capacity, identify delivery risks and proactively mitigate issues.
Lead end-to-end delivery projects for highly complex and highly visible campaigns or projects from project initiation through execution and closure. This will include developing project plans with detailed timelines, requirements, tasks and resources, leading ongoing project-related meetings (e.g. kick-offs, stand-ups, testing, go/no-go meetings), providing regular updates to stakeholders and generally serving as the point of contact for all project or process related matters.
Utilize Adobe Workfront for all project management activities, including: project initiation, crafting project plans utilizing standardized project templates and tailoring to the scope needs, managing resourcing of tasks, updating project timelines and status, and ensuring any risk is tracked and managed in the system, and closing out project upon completion.
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, compliance standards and policies across all project deliverables and documentation confirmation is stored within Workfront for auditing purposes.
Proactively monitor project work, identify risks and resolve issues that may cause project delays by partnering with subject-matter experts.
Own project-level operational health reporting, responsible for maintaining project status reporting to keep stakeholders informed of in-flight work status as well as overall program-level reporting to ensure we are tracking towards our OKRs.
Identify opportunities to evolve the way we work to drive operational efficiencies, business outcomes and team performance by providing data-backed recommendations and influencing cross-functional teams to adopt process improvements.
Develop a deep understanding of our delivery process, systems and technology to help proactively identify potential barriers and more quickly identify solutions.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or Military experience
At least 3 years of Project Management experience
At least 2 years of experience in marketing operations, supporting end-to-end go-to-market planning and integrated campaign delivery for product roadmaps
At least 1 year of experience in process improvement or change management
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Marketing, Business or Communications
1+ year of experience with data management, reporting and analytics
2+ years of experience in marketing operations for financial services
2+ years of experience managing creative processes, partnering with creative teams and developing creative optimization frameworks
2+ years of experience in multi-channel campaign development, including research, planning, and execution
2+ years of experience working with marketing tech platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, Workfront or Asana)
4+ years of experience leading projects across cross-functional teams
4+ years of Project Management, Process Management or Risk Management experience
PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
Strong communication, problem solving and collaboration skills

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $117,300 - $133,900 for Principal Project Manager
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
