This role will drive important projects and high priority deliverables to support our Product Manager job family learning programs. The individual will:
Partner closely with key business partners to translate business intent into engaging learning materials using a Product mindset and product development approach.
Analyze learning needs, design and develop learning products, measure success and report out on learning effectiveness
Be a driving force on the team for customer back thinking, continuous discovery, and iterative development of learning products that provide career development leverage for associates in product.
Drive a digital first mindset to new development, delivery and evaluation technology options for the team
Autonomously solve problems through critical thinking and implementing through resolution
General Responsibilities:
Discovery: Work with stakeholders and customers to determine training and performance management needs
Design and develop associate curriculum, programs, learning materials and performance support tools (including self-study, classroom, eLearning, etc.) based on industry design standards using digital methods to deliver whenever possible
Design training solutions that demonstrate an understanding of adult learning principles and leverage current learning trends to enhance the learner experience
Identify performance gaps and determine the cause in order to recommend the most appropriate learning solutions
Identify and report the impacts of initiatives on overall performance
Display effective project/organization management, with the ability to see the strategic picture and prioritize independently
Ability to work in an agile environment with a product mindset
Actively share best practices, leveraging efficiencies among team products and processes and participating in team ceremonies

Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
At least 2 years of experience in Training Design and Development
At least 1 year of experience with learning content development tools (Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Adobe Design Suite, and Camtasia)
At least 2 years of experience with data management, identifying trends and creating reports
At least 1 year of experience in Google Suite products (for example: Sheets, Slides, Docs)
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in Training Design and Development
3+ years of experience in Consulting
2+ years of experience with learning content development tools (Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Adobe Design Suite, and Camtasia)
1+ years of experience in Project Management
1+ years of Agile experience
Experience in researching new learning technology
Experience with Zoom

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $86,300 - $98,400 for Sr. Learning Associate
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
